The Diploma in English Language Teaching - Delta

The Delta Modules are designed and produced by Cambridge English Language Assessment, which is a department of the University of Cambridge. The Anglo is a centre authorised to deliver this teaching award.

Aims of the programme

Obtaining the Delta Modules prepares teachers for more senior teaching roles and facilitates progression to other qualifications such as MAs in Linguistics and Language Teaching. Some MA programmes will take Delta credits into consideration (up to 20 credits for each module).

The modular integrated programme at The Anglo

The Anglo offers an integrated programme covering all three modules of the diploma. Each module is assessed independently and is separately certificated. A pass in all three modules confers the status of a full Delta qualification.

  • Module 1 Exam practice through mock examinations & examination-taking strategies.
  • Module 2 Professional development, theory and practice, writing assignments and teaching plans, developing observation skills and analysing the teacher.
  • Module 3 Guidance on research, writing and presentation of project for external assessment. Personal tutorials.
